The water cooler is common place in most offices.  It serves it purpose, but rarely adds style.  In fact, they are quite unsightly with the giant water bottle sticking out of the top.  Not really an item most people want decorating their home Primo has redesigned the old version of the water cooler making it more attractive and usable for home use.  Learn more after the break.

Primo Water Redefines the Water Cooler Category

(WINSTON-SALEM, NC) – Rarely has a home appliance been able
to improve a woman’s life in so many ways. For years, the water cooler had
become the ubiquitous but uninspiring part of every office: A place to fill a
paper water cup or talk about the news of the day. Now, Primo Water has
redefined the “water dispenser” and elevated it to the “must-have item” for
every home.

The new sleek, modern water
dispensers are not only designed to complement any décor, they actually help
families live better, healthier and greener lives. And it’s never been easier
to find the perfect water dispenser for your home. The nation’s leading
retailers – Walmart, Target, Kmart, Sam’s Club, Costco.com and major home
centers – see the incredible value for their customers and now carry the Primo
line of water dispensers. Consumers can choose from sophisticated-looking,
top-loading dispensers, to the new bottom-loading dispensers that cleverly hide
the bottles in the bottom cabinet. Prices start at just $99.

These things are great for homes or other locations where the water from the well or the city doesn’t taste good.

That said…is it really better, healthier, and greener from a general sense? How is this greener to drinking water from the tap and then using that same source to wash and re-use said glass?

Why does the written copy imply that this product is made specifically for women?

Do people really want a messy place for their kids to get water in their dens, and are they really too lazy to walk into the kitchen?

    It’s a weird ad…on several levels.
