EFO Launches New Wireless and Wired Bluetooth Keyboard/Mice Combos

Do you own a home theater PC (HTPC)? Or do you have one of those jealousy inducing widescreen monitors, big enough to watch all the Hulu and Youtube your retinas can stand? Maybe you just like to sit a safe distance from the brightness of your screen.

In any case, if you’ve ever wanted a compact keyboard and mouse to control your PC from a distance, EFO has some new products for you! These look a bit like a calculator, a smartphone and a laptop touchpad had a baby; essentially they’re perfect if you want the general concept of a keyboard and mouse in something closer to the size of a remote control, in bluetooth and wired versions.     I bought one of these last month after Gear Diary featured them. Mine is an earlier model with a bigger dongle and no scrolling. The keypad looks to be the same as mine which is unfortunate. Text entry is extremely tedious as the keys are almost flush with the device.
    I still think the better way to go would be a software side solution using your smartphone’s keypad for text entry. If you had a Blackberry the scrollball would control the cursor and on a touchscreen device, the screen would become your touchpad.
