In case you hadn’t picked up on it yet, here at Gear Diary we love our SeV wear:

So it is with no trepidation whatsoever that we point y’all to the SeV web site for their new year’s selection of (if I may repeat) sales, videos, and email options.  They’ve got jackets, windbreakers, cargo pants, and lots of other stuff on hand.  So surf on over, and stop trying to stuff all your gear in the pockets of your jeans and that one breast pocket on your flannel shirt!

Last year was our best year ever.  Our company grew by more than 60% compared to the prior year, despite the recession.  And since Chritmas, we are now growing by more than 100%.  I think we may have finally “tipped”.

We could not have done this without your help.  Our new travel messaging – “For the Trip of Your Life”- has been very well received.  Thank you for your continued business and interaction through the various social media outlets I use.  I feel like I know many of you personally through these outlets.  If you don’t already follow me on Twitter or Facebook, please do so. I respond personally to ALL posts and Tweets.

Here are some highlights from 2009 and what we’re already working on this year:

• Our new secret Sale Page announces one-day only sales and gives you a quick run-down on the latest SeV news.  For example, for today only, you can save 20% off the Pack Windbreaker, while supplies last.  We’ve been putting a few
  random items per week on sale, so bookmark the page and check back daily often.  If you follow @scottevest on Twitter, you will get notified everytime something goes on sale.
• Our hilarious new video spoof “There’s a Pocket for That” based upon Apple’s iPhone commercial (There’s an App for That) has gone viral! We’ve got over 13K views already, and it’s still going strong. SeV fans are giving great feedback, and this is one you’ll be sure to forward on to your friends.
• We are constantly posting on Facebook, Twitter and Posterous with the latest news from SeV, but as a clothing company we especially know that one size does not fit all. Update your e-mail options to receive only the communications from us that you want, from weekly updates to monthly updates to just twice a year sale announcements… the choice is yours. If you want to continue
  to receive messages about once a month from us, you do not need to do anything.
• BusinessWeek recently did an article about SeV & Scott Jordan’s use of social media for running SCOTTEVEST. If you are interested in behind the scenes at SeV, this is a good read.
• We had several new products introductions, e.g. the Soft Shell Jacket and Flex Cargo Pants, and we are very excited for 2010!
• The third season of Chuck just started (check it out on Hulu if you missed it). Last season, SeV was worn by Adam Baldwin in a lot of episodes, including the finale. Keep your eyes peeled in this season for SeV’s encore performance and check out the SeV Vest and SeV Jacket as seen on Chuck.
• Our new print catalog features fan travel photos from around the world. You can request a catalog here.
