Nexus One Price Change In the Works?

Posted on 14 January 2010 by

Reading over on Phandroid today I came across a post that rumors that Google is looking at possibly reducing the price of The Nexus One or at the very least expanding the group of people who can buy it for the $179 price.

From a Googler named Ethan:

Also, as you’ve probably seen elsewhere, we’ve listened to everyone’s feedback and concerns and are working to expand the group of customers that qualify for upgrade pricing on the Nexus One. Please stay tuned for more information.

Now, I will say the same thing as they did in the post: what about the ones who paid the full price?  What can Google do about that?  They can’t do the same thing Apple did with the iPhone.

Only time will tell if this brings up the reported low sales figures.
