When the economy is struggling, it seems school budgets are often squeezed, and badly. My mother is a high school teacher, and even in her middle-class suburb they have budget issues and pushback on spending money for education.
Want to help your local school system make a difference? So does Meeting Tomorrow Audio Visual, who make (surprisingly) audio/visual equipment like projectors, etc. They’re giving away 10 projectors to the schools that get the most votes in their contest!
So make sure to vote, but you can do more than just your own vote. Tell your school board, the PTA parents, your neighbors…the way a school is going to win is by getting the word of mouth out about this great contest!
You have until March 31st, plenty of time to dig out that phone chain from your kid’s little league and use it for something other than inclement weather!
Meeting Tomorrow Audio Visual Giving Away Projectors to Schools in Online Contest
Projectors to be given away to deserving schools based on online vote.Chicago, IL (January 18, 2010) - Meeting Tomorrow Audio Visual, the leading supplier of corporate nationwide audio visual rentals and services, announced today the launch of its School Audio Visual Giveaway.
The company will be giving away LCD projectors to deserving schools nationwide though an online contest based on the highest number of votes. Votes should be submitted online at www.meetingtomorrow.com/audio-visual-giveaway.html. Only one vote will be counted from each unique computer.
All public and private elementary, middle, and high schools are eligible. The LCD projectors can be used in classrooms to project images from computers, DVD/VHS players, and other video devices.
“Presentation technologies have long allowed businesses to communicate more effectively and persuasively, but for too long these same technologies haven’t been within reach of our nation’s schools,” said Mark Aistrope, Meeting Tomorrow president. “We are excited about the opportunity to contribute to the growth of technology in the classroom.”
Meeting Tomorrow’s online contest ends March 31st, 2010, but the program may be expanded and increased in scope based on voter response.
