The Insight didn't cut it even for a trip to the pet store for supplies and an igloo for winter. For us to live green and live with the dogs the Chevy Tahoe hybrid is about the only one that works. Even the Escape hybrid ends up a bit smallish. I think the automakers need to add hybrids to their wagon lines for modern families.

We have four dogs in our life now, two full grown large adults and two still growing pups that will also be large. I test drove one over the summer, and I was not impressed...especially when I test drove the Prius later that day. The insight felt like a worse ride than the 9yr old Altima I was trying to replace!

Totally agree with your Insight review.
