I currently have 100 Farmville requests sitting in my Facebook. Am I playing the game? Sort of, because I joined to help out a friend who needed another neighbor. But then all of my other friends who are playing realized I was on there and started sending me invites. It’s an avalanche of wannabee Farmers!
I’ll admit to playing FarmTown (a similar game) on Facebook for about a month — but then I burned out and swore never to do it again. And I haven’t.
That’s why I laughed so hard when I saw this video today …
Are you playing Farmville? If so, why?
And don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I gave up stupid Facebook games entirely; I just play Pirates now.
I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford
I’m hoping they’ll implement their own sheep-throwing feature soon.

Farmville is pretty cool. i play it because i feel its a creative outlet for me (being a creative person/graphic designer) sometimes doing the simplest of things can relax you after a long days work

I can’t do it – between all of my games on PC, Mac, DS, PSP, iPod Touch and so on …
