Apple Announcement On for January 27th

In what comes as no surprise to many of us, Apple made it official today announcing to the press that it will be unveiling its newest offering live on January 27th in San Francisco.

Whether the device will be a tablet, a new iPhone, new iPod Touch or something completely different remains to be seen, and Apple’s still being very tight lipped about it.

The announcement about the January 27th event came in the form of an e-mail to journalists.
