Get your Newegg orders delivered same-day! - rabbidmc@gmail.com - Gmail.jpg

If overnight delivery is too slow for you (and you live in California, New Jersey or Tennesee) Newegg.com has good news for you. So long as you place an order with the online vendor by the cutoff time (11am in California and 12pm in New Jersey and Tennessee). It is unclear how much more this uber-fast form of shipping will cost but you can assume you REALLY want the purchase quickly and are willing to pay for it. Still… it is nice to have the option.

The fine print…

Local Express Delivery shipments are picked up from our warehouse by Dynamex, Inc., who has contracted to handle Local Express Delivery shipping from Newegg to your ship-to address. Projected delivery is by 8 p.m. on the day of order, if the order is placed by the deadline.
Deadline for orders for Local Express Delivery are as follows: 11 a.m. for our California warehouses, and 12 noon for our locations in New Jersey and Tennessee.
Your ship-to address must be within 40 miles of our California warehouse, or within 20 miles of our New Jersey or Tennessee facilities.
Orders placed after the deadline or on weekends will be shipped on the next business day.
Not all items are available to be shipped by Local Express at this time. Alerts will be presented during the checkout process.

Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets. Dan’s father brought home one of the very first video games when he was young and Dan remembers seeing a “pre-release” touchtone phone. (When he asked his father what the “#” and “*” buttons were his dad said, “Some day, far in the future, we’ll have some use for them.”) Technology seemed to be in Dan’s blood but at some point he took a different path and ended up in the clergy. His passion for technology and gadgets never left him. +Dan Cohen
