Though there is a lot of love for Twidroid Pro for Android, I’ve taken quite the liking to Seesmic for Android. It has a clean, simple interface and is quite consistent across platforms. For those who have been living by Twidroid Pro, though, there were some missing features. Read on to see what updates are in Seesmic for Android 1.2.

Seesmic for Android 1.2 features quite a few nice improvements, including two major requested features:

  • Multi-Account support (including a default account upon launch)
  • Remembering scroll position even while loading new updates, or always begin on top based on preference
  • Profile information (avatar, number of followers, etc.) will be updated automatically
  • Changing Twitter account password within the application
  • Proper auto-correct and auto-capitalization in the composer dialog
  • Notifications cleared when application is launched via icon
  • Remove a Twitter account by simply pressing on it

More details including a video and screenshots are available in this Seesmic Forums post. Existing users on Android can simply update from the Android Market.
