eBook Readers for Your Valentine

Still searching for a Valentine’s Day gift? Freaking out that the east coast Snowpacalypse is going to severely limit your shopping options? The eBook stars have aligned this week, with the nook back in stock, Sony Reader bundles, and of course, Amazon is prepared with plenty of Kindles!

Let’s start with Sony. They’re offering a special “Valentine’s Day Bundle“; a red Sony Reader Touch Edition, a case with booklight built in, and a free copy of “The Heart Speaks: A Cardiologist Reveals the Secret Language of Healing“, all for $329.99.

If that’s still a bit steep for you, Sony also offers the Pocket Edition, at a far more affordable $179.99.

The Barnes and Noble nook has been out of stock/backordered practically since it was announced. But just in time for Valentine’s day, it is back and with updated firmware! The nook only comes in one color, but there are a plethora of cases in just about every color and style imaginable, so you can definitely find one that matches your valentine’s style.

Finally, Amazon is boasting that the Kindle is in stock and ready for V-Day. No special deals, but just like the nook there are lots of great Kindle cases out there. You can check out many of our case reviews, but take a close look at Judie’s Oberon reviews. If you’re looking for a high end, beautiful case, you can’t go wrong for your valentine with one of these!

And no matter what device you buy your valentine, don’t forget to show them how they can find books from sources beyond the Sony, B&N and Amazon stores! Teleread also has a great list of free eBook sources, so that new reader you’re ordering can be well stocked for the reader in your life this Valentine’s Day!
