Game On! Dell is taking orders for their new Alienware m11x Gaming Laptop. The 11.6″ notebook has a starting price of $799 and comes in either Cosmic Black or Lunar Silver.
The specs on the base system are pretty good and include a Pentium Dual-core processor running at 1.3GHz, 2GB DDR3, a 160GB Hard Drive, 5.1ch Audio, a 1.3MP Webcam and a 1GB GeForce GT 335M. Of course the system can be upgraded with goodies like 8GB RAM, a 7200RPM or a 256 SSD.
Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets. Dan’s father brought home one of the very first video games when he was young and Dan remembers seeing a “pre-release” touchtone phone. (When he asked his father what the “#” and “*” buttons were his dad said, “Some day, far in the future, we’ll have some use for them.”)

Just to be clear … I’m not *really* upset or anything … I’ve already said I’m getting this and ordered it this morning, but since LogicBuy is usually so good with deals I was hoping this was going to make my corporate discount even sweeter!
