Plants vs. Zombies Available NOW in iTunes App Store!

Since it was released last year I have constantly gushed about how much I love the Popcap tower-defense game Plants Vs. Zombies. Originally released for the Mac & PC last spring, late last year it was announced to be coming to the iPhone, XBOX Live Arcade (XBLA) and the Nintendo DS. The iPhone release was delayed, but has now arrived, and for the bargain price of $2.99!

From my review:

In an era of a constant stream of $60 games that last four hours and offer me-too multiplayer, Plants vs. Zombies offers an amazing value: hours of core gameplay, loads of added content, tons of reasons to keep coming back for more, and Crazy Dave! I liken this to Portal … but better! Not that the core game is necessarily better than Portal, but because it offers a wonderfully addictive experience that won’t be over in a few short hours.

I have only played a small amount so far, but it really appears they have done a great job with the port!

Grab it for $2.99 at the iTunes App Store NOW!

(Note: Still no word on the XBLA or DS release dates.)

Mobile Technology has played a major role in my life - I have used an electronic companion since the HP95LX more than 20 years ago, and have been a 'Laptop First' person since my Compaq LTE Lite 3/20 and Powerbook 170 back in 1991! As an avid gamer and gadget-junkie I was constantly asked for my opinions on new technology, which led to writing small blurbs ... and eventually becoming a reviewer many years ago.
