We project from a Mac to screens on stage for our church. We would love to have this Display Link to enable us to have a monitor in the back of the auditorium for the words of the songs for the singers. Our software does this (ProPresenter) and this hardware would complete the picture for us :-)

I’m used to working with multiple monitors at work, but when I get home I’m stuck with my little 12″ screen on my tablet. The ability to use two large screens at once would help me get tons of work done!

I’m a graphics designer looking for work. This would absolutely come in handy, since using this I could use a netbook when I know there is a large screen available for use instead of my bigger, heavier laptop.

I currently use a 20 foot s-video cable to connect to my TV. With two rambunctious poodles in the house, that thing is a disaster just waiting to happen.

I have a small netbook which I use to travel. I am on the road all the time and often need to do presentations and work on issues collectively. Currently I have to bring my heavy laptop as well for these sessions. This device would be ideal for my everyday life and would give me a great deal of satisfaction. It would also save my back from this extra weight.

I’m constantly running out of room to do sysadmin work on my small laptop screen. I have another monitor, but hooking and un-hooking it up all the time is not ideal, especially since I have no docking station. And those vga cables don’t seem to like being hooked up and removed constantly.

This adapter could change my life!!! Adding MUCH needed desktop space and adding mobility!

    Crossing fingers!

This is pretty much a gotta-have for travel. I could just take my tiny Vaio and hook up anywhere I can find a large monitor to do detailed work.

You can just wrap it up now and send it on.

I have a laptop and a umpc. I work with both at the same time and I use the laptop’s keyboard and mouse to control the umpc through the synergy software. It would be nice to hook the umpc up to a large screen using HP’s Display link.

I’d use this to hook up a large monitor to my laptop to use as an additional display, though I would effectively use it as the primary display, and the laptop display as the secondary display.

    Awesome!

I’m running 2 projectors for a presentation project. Going to one computer would simplify things. Boring! But useful.

I have an HP laptop and would love to connect to my Vizio 50″.

I have a 32″ monitor like a year now and really think this is a good chance of giving my pc a little bit “more” screen!

  • ocergj

I work in IT and consistently have 15 apps or more open at a given time. My netbook has very limited real estate on the screen and this would be an awesome fix for me!

  • DavidB

I could seriously use this for remoting my netbook up to my big screen TV. Plus I could use it for work presentations too!

    Awesome giveaway.
I will use this to connect my big screen TV to laptop. And will use to play movie from my laptop and at the same to work on my laptop. I will use my laptop as primary display and my tv as extended display (secondary display).
