GearDeal- Nintendo DSi White

Posted on 19 March 2010 by

My niece and nephew love playing games on their Nintendo DSi. Me, I prefer playing games on my iPhone and iPod touch. My sister isn’t ready to get them one… yet … but I have been working on her. Until then, they will have to make due with the DSi (or come visit their uncle more often).

Today’s GearDeal will save you a bit of cash on Nintendo DSi. The package comes with the device itself, a stylus and a power adapter. This version of the handheld gaming device is 12% thinner than the previous generation Nintendo DS. It has two of 3.25 inch LCD screens, two cameras, an ST card slot and, of course, it comes with WiFi.

The device has a MSRP of $169 but our GearSponsor has found it for just $129. It will even ship for free.

Nintendo DSi White via LogicBUY.

Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets. Dan’s father brought home one of the very first video games when he was young and Dan remembers seeing a “pre-release” touchtone phone. (When he asked his father what the “#” and “*” buttons were his dad said, “Some day, far in the future, we’ll have some use for them.”) Technology seemed to be in Dan’s blood but at some point he took a different path and ended up in the clergy. His passion for technology and gadgets never left him. +Dan Cohen
