I woke this morning to find an e-mail from Apple letting me know that my iPhone 4 will be delivering on Wednesday 6/23 one day earlier than the scheduled world wide launch. The e-mail reads as follows:

I’m not sure I believe that the iPhone 4 will in fact deliver a day early but according to Engadget lots of other people have received similar e-mails.
What’s even more curious is that when I received my initial tracking number from the Apple store it too indicated a delivery date of 6/23. I of course noticed it right away but figured it would be sitting in my local Federal Express office all day on the 23rd unavailable to me until it delivered the next day.

So could the iPhone 4 be coming for some a full day early?
I’m starting to wonder if Apple didn’t push the delivery day up for its own pre-orders in an effort to ease the strain its iTunes activation servers are bound to face on 6/24 when all of the AT&T, Walmart and Best Buy customers get their phones too.
Did you order an iPhone 4 and get one of these e-mails from Apple? Leave me a comment below and stay tuned, we could be seeing the new iPhone in less the 24 hours.
