We love our Vaja products here at Gear Diary. I have had several for my iPhone, bought the Retro Dockable for Sami (in black and dark green), which she loves, and currently have a Vaja wallet. Their stuff is pricey, yes, but boy is it nice. And durn pretty, too.
So I personally am pretty excited at their new selection of iPhone cases. The current list of cases for the iPhone 4 are:
ivolution Black Series
ivolution Top
ivolution top SP
ivolution Grip
(I have the Grip for my iPhone 3Gs.)
And according to Vaja, they will soon be adding:
ivolution GT
ivolution Silver ( .925 )
ivolution Stripes
Vaja cases range in price from $60 on up, so you should surf over to their site and check them out yourself. But believe me, they’re durn nice!
Doug is a nerd from way back, falling for a Commodore PET at the age of 15, and never looking back. Riding the nerd wave, he got a Computer Science degree and entered the tech industry at a young age, deciding after a year and a half of front-line phone technical support that he should try something, *anything* else. He settled on technical writing, and has been cranking out documentation for companies like Unisys, SGI, Cisco, Juniper, and many others ever since. The fact that he commutes between his family in Austin and his day job in California is something that he is simply trying to live with. (Isabelle the Corgi helps.)

I don’t have any sort of leather fetish, but my God is Vaja leather nice. I could barely stop touching my 3G for weeks after first slipping it into the leather case. I still have that thing a year later, and it’s just as nice. Can’t begin to count how many people asked where I got it. Some were amazed at the price, but as I always told them, if you pay a few hundred bucks for a device, what is another hundred or so to keep it protected for a couple years?
Of course that is before I got laid off, back when I had actual money lol. A 4G Vaja case is a luxury item I can’t afford at the moment.

I love my Grip case–it worries me some to not have a cover on it, but it makes holding it *so* much more comfortable. And the way I felt was, I paid $30 for a plastic case from the AT&T store, and it broke in less than 2 weeks. In the context, $85 for one that is still here more than a year later is a bargain.
