Her betrothed has diabetes and has impaired vision because of it. While he can still see, he had great difficulty in low light settings. He is also famous for over sleeping! So here is my concern:
My soon-to-be nephew in law can't see very well, and if he can't wake up on time to get to his wedding, my niece may dump him and go back to her previous boyfriend (the guy who broke into my house and robbed my blind (no pun intended) while I was on vacation.
So, in summary, this clock can save a young couples relationship, allow my niece and her fiance to get married (on time) and help prevent family fighting!

So here is my story: I have a niece who recently got engaged. A good example, is on Tuesday, July 20th I got surgery. While it took 8 months to set up my appointment I wanted to make sure I wouldn't miss it. So I set my normal alarm however had it on pm not am. Where this one I wouldn't have messed up as you "tell" it the am/pm. But to be safe I set my cell phone alarm and my wires cell alarm. I then called parents and a few friends to call me in morning as this is most important day of my life. Well... Left my cell in kitchen and didn't hear it, wife's cell battery died and needless to say I slept in. Would have missed biggest day of my life if I hadn't had my neighbors as a backup plan of the backups backup plan. Having this alarm clock could save me further embarrassing and horrifying tardiness.

I have a funny yet weird story about my oversleeping , haha.
I have a regular alarm clock , the one that makes the HUGE HUGE HUGE buzzing noice when it's time to get up.
Well , it was one morning that my clock tried to wake me up but failed. I usually wake up at 7 a.m. to do the early necessities to be done. After that I would go to my lectures and sit there while the professor rambles about World History. So , this morning I didn't wake up when the buzz came off at 7. You know what's funny? Today was the bleeping day that I had my final semsters exams!!! And I totally forgot about this huge event ... yeah clumsy me. Anyways , I finally managed to wake up at 9:15 a.m. and went into a heart attack because it was 9 bleeping 15 in the morning! I panicked like crazy and without brushing my teeth or anything , I just putted on my glasses , took my backpack and ran straight to the auditorium(the place where the test was taken)
When I got there , there was only about 20 people left out of 75 people. I immediately asked for the exam and started. (It was a timed exam and was set to be finished at 11:45 a.m.) By the time I started , it was 10 and it would usually take your average student around 2.5 hours to finish. I quickly rushed and rushed , looking at the clock every 5 minutes or so. So I finally managed to finish the test at 11:41. By the way , I was last to finish. When I received the test scores , I was shocked... I barely passed with a 79%. 79% may be high but that's an abnormal score to someone like me who usually gets around 88% +
I learned a lesson : NEVER NEVER EVER use Nyquil at 2 in the morning - the morning of a major exam.

I need the MOshi: Voice Control Alarm Clock , obviously for my oversleeping.<br

So the next day I get and realize that I had set the alarm to the wrong time or maybe just slept through the alarm. I had an hour to flight and was at least 30 minutes from airport. I had my wife drive me to the airport so that I could avoid having spend time parking the car. However I still missed the flight by 15 minutes due to the lines at the airport. However since I was traveling Southwest, I was able to get on another flight about an hour later. I reached the meeting about 30 minutes later than I was to present and thankfully my manager was understanding and had rescheduled the meeting to an hour later based on my email about being late.

I was flying out to make a presentation but spent the night late working on the presentation. So after I felt weird not knowing I treid to fight it I stayed up two more hours and then began hollosinating. I saw a marry go round on the table a big blanket attack me and even a fasle vampire bite on my neck. I saw these images until I threw up all over my lugaqggae and fell asleep. I woke up the next day 5 minutes before my plane left which was 2 hours after I planned I jumped up and saw my friends had left me I ran to the gate with my boxers and a wifebeater on to find out my ticket was invalid then one of my friends calls me and says the rescheduled our flight for two hours later and where in the airports mall trying to by me new clothes cause I threw up all over mines,. I felt so dumb and embarased I began to walk shamefully back to our room but not before i realized that I had a marker drawn beard and tattoo on my face.

On my birthday last year I was gonna fly to newyork but I couldnt go to sleep the day before. so one of my freinds in a attempt to make me go to sleep put ambien in my drink. I then looked at the clock on my iPhone (what I should have done in the first place) and noticed it was only 7:30.... fell back to sleep. After that debacle my alarm went off, it said 10:26, at this point I was freaking out. I went and got completely and went off to the the 'important place'. Turns out my clock was an hour ahead and made for a long wait. Humph. :/

Once I had a very important place to be and needed to be there at EXACTLY 10:00, I first was dreaming about being late which brought me awake from my sleep and then rushing to get ready. I ended up waking up 20 mins late for my first day of my senior year unshowered, bed head, a complete mess. My "old School" teacher then picked me out as his least favorite student. Then gotten the crap scared out of me when I'm in my room in the evening, reading a book, and gotten startled by the BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!! of the alarm going off at 8p.m..
I have Multiple Sclerosis, and while I'm still mobile, the MS does occasionally affect my vision. I've had a couple of episodes where my vision has been obscured by a blind spot in one eye, and my color vision was affected in both eyes at the same time. The red light on my current alarm clock was unreadable because red is one of the colors that's hard to see when my color vision gets screwed up. (MS sucks)
When the MS isnt screwing with my eyes, I have problems just because I'm getting older and my eyes arent getting any younger.
This would just be great when it's cold out and I'm too lazy and warm in bed to sit up to look at the time.

Not really funny, but I’ve set my alarm to wake me up before, and not realized that I set it for “p.m.” instead of “a.m.”, and then wondered why I slept thru the alarm when I wanted to get up at 8a.m.. I had planned on entering for myself, but seriously, jelliott25 deserves it. If my post is generated in the random pick, send it to him/her instead.

Hahaha, please, please, give it to jelliott25!

I had planned on entering for myself, but seriously, jelliott25 deserves it. Help me.

I need this because my macularly degenrated mother-in-law is apparently unable to read her bedside clock when making decisions about what is and what isn’t an appropriate time to call my house to discuss such vitally important topics as: what my sister-in-law’s kids have done now, that she can’t sleep, how disgusting my father-in-law is, how well her air conditioning is or isn’t working, how the light bulb in the microwave needs to be replaced, how much she hates bananas, that she needs some of those footy socks that have the grippy texture on the bottom, that she’s pretty sure her house is haunted, that, that Shakira is a puta, that the carpet in her bedroom is wrinkly and needs to be replaced, preferably with hardwood flooring but a laminate would be acceptable if the cost savings are significant, that her (insert body part here) hurts, and on and on and on. My parents left me alone for the weekend (a weekend on which it was raining cats and dogs), they were out of town to attend someone's wedding. I had an examination at 9.30am. The alarm didn't ring. I woke up late and raced to college only to find I'd left my Hall ticket/pass back at home in the oh-my-god-I-got-up-late hurry. Called back home to realize that only the dog was back home
/facepalm
So I rushed back home, picked up the stuff and went all the way back to college, during which half the test time had gone by. Managed to finish my test and still scored an A+ in that subject.
@grajasekar on twitter
looking back on it, I laugh at how much of an adrenaline-pumping day it was. But then, an alarm like this one would sure have helped me reduce all that unnecessary stress.

This was back when I was studying for my bachelors in India. I would enjoy giving Moshi a try.

I currently have three alarms strategically placed around the room and I still manage to occasionally over sleep. Each grad asst was given a certain number of problems to grade on ALL the tests, and then a section of just your student's test.
The test was in the evening, so afterwards I decided to grade all my parts.
I finished after midnight, maybe 2am or something.
The next morning I had to teach my class at 8am. I woke up about 7:40, jumped up, dressed, and ran to class. I got there about 6 or 7 minutes after the hour, and everyone was still there!

When I was in grad school, I taught college algebra.
