One of my favorite desk accessories is my Griffin Simiplfi Dock.  The dock not only supports the charging and syncing of both my iPods and my iPhone, but it also houses a media card reader and a USB hub.  The Simplifi takes the place of three devices and in doing so creates more valuable desk space for me.

The one thing however that the Simplifi can not do is charge my iPad.  I use a separate dock for that.

Enter the iPADock from PhotoFast.  This dock, which appears to do everything the Simplifi does and in face much more, in addition to also including a spot to charge the iPad in.  The iPADock is capable of handling four iPods or iPhones at once, two iPads simultaneously, or a combination of one iPad and two iPhones or iPods, via four powered USB ports on the back and cutouts in the docking wells that allow Apple’s standard 30-pin to USB cables to fit through.

In addition to the various iDevice charging slots the iPADock also has three non-powered USB ports, multiple memory card readers with support for most popular formats, and slots to hold the iPad Camera Connection Kit.

No word on pricing yet, but rumors appear to indicate a cost of around $70.

I have always had a passion for gear and gadgets. It all started for me with the release of the very first Palm Pilot. I've always had an interest in handheld electronics. From handheld PDAs, to cell phones, Mp3 players, watches and other products, I'm the first person my friends, family and colleagues call when they need advice on tech. I have roots in the online tech. forum community. I served as the Administrator to Howard Forums.com and as a Moderator at both Treo Central.com and Blackberry Forums.net.
