While I am waiting for my 4th gen iPod Touch to arrive in order to check it out, iOS 4.1 with Game Center support has been released. The initial comments I saw amounted to ‘um … where are the games?’

Well, as of today there are 33 games that have been updated with Game Center support, many with achievements! I know I had a flurry of updates last night and this morning, several of which were specifically to support iOS 4.1 and Game Center.

Seems like a great list, and I am sure that as more and more people check it out, more apps will be updated to support it! Gamers have gotten very used to XBOX Live, Steam and the Playstation Network and the ability to show off their trophies / achievements, so this will be a perfect fit!
