I’ve always claimed a love for convergence devices but this one might be taking things a little too far.

On the other hand maybe the folks at Y-Case are on to something here…..

The company’s new iPhone stand, which is made from 100% silicone, is meant to hold the iPhone 4 in the proper angle for viewing movies and other multimedia content on your device while keeping your hands free for “other” activities.  I can’t however help but notice the similarity between it and a certain sex toy (link probably NSFW).

If the new stand doesn’t take off this coming holiday season, then I think I have just the suggestion for Y-Case …

Every year CES (The Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas is held at the same time as the AVN (Adult Video Awards.)  Yes, during the first week of January Las Vegas is flooded with not only thousands of tech geeks but thousands of porn geeks too.

If I were the marketing director for Y-Case. I’m thinking I’d book double booths that week; one at CES and one at the AVN convention.  Whichever group takes a better liking to the stand becomes my permanent target market.

And please forget about the convergence factor here … friends don’t let friends use sex toys as iPhone stands.

    First off, I have no affiliation with either this stand or the toy. Also, I don’t think I’m a prude, but I find this post offensive. You could really do this comparison with many tech products,eg the iPad ones. Also, I encourage my nieces to read this site, and now, I hope they don’t.
