Tokyoflash announces their first concept to reality watch, the Kisai RPM. Back in February, Tokyoflash announced a concept blog on their site where fans could vote for a design that they would like to make a reality. James Fursedon from the UK, came up with this design which is the first concept-to-reality design available for purchase on the Tokyoflash website. The all black stainless steel watch features 2 blue LED rings around the outer edge and are protected by a smoked black crystal lens. The inner circle of the watch is a brushed finish slightly elevated which is said to “echo the appearance of a turntable” . This black beauty comes with the usual list of standard features as most Tokyoflash watches which of course includes the animated LED light show on you wrist. The included USB cable charges this watch in about 3.5 hours and should give you a decent month of use, depending on how often you show it off to your envious geek friends.

Words from Concept Creator James Fursedon:
I’m really pleased with the way this watch has turned out, the design team have done an amazing job. I have no artistic skills whatsoever but had a concept in my head that I hoped would be worthy of being featured on the blog. I sent in a few short paragraphs of how I thought the watch should look and work and kept my fingers tightly crossed!
I was so excited to see my concept on the design studio blog, I recognised it immediately but was blown away by the little touches and design flares that had been added to make it so special. Now, 9 months later, to see my watch idea in production and on sale from my favourite watch shop is unbelievable, a dream come true!
Thank you Tokyoflash, thank you to everyone who commented and voted on the blog and thank you to every one who buys one! I can’t wait to see a stranger wearing this watch and will surely buy them a pint! - James

Video Review:
Like all Tokyoflash watches this design will take a little work before you decipher the actual time of the watch. I can’t think of a better gift for the holiday season for the geek in your life that has everything. Tokyoflash watches are classy but perfect for that gadget loving geek in your life. Most watches offered come in a highly polished stainless steel casing, this is one of the few that come with coated in black which in my opinion is a welcome addition to their lineup. Take a minute and head over to the Concept Blog and vote on what you would like to see become reality or submit an entry of your own. The RPM is available now on the site for a low price of $208.42 which as usual includes free worldwide shipping.
