I’d like to try using Dragon Dictate for grading of student papers submitted online (I’m a university prof). I think this could allow me to give more complete, conversational feedback to my students.

I’d like you to cover the cool stuff. I know there’ll be phones, and tablets, and TVs, and all that, but what about those niche products or uses of technology that change the game? I’m thinking somewhat of an “Apple” approach here – more the benefit and use of the technology than the technology itself. Sure, Apple makes a phone and a tablet, but it’s more that they’ve enabled a way of working and interacting with others and with data which is changing the game. Tell me about the tech that’s going to make life better.

All Waldemar needs to do is send us contact information HERE and we will get the information to Nuance.

Our thanks to Nuance for the giveaway!

Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets. Dan’s father brought home one of the very first video games when he was young and Dan remembers seeing a “pre-release” touchtone phone. (When he asked his father what the “#” and “*” buttons were his dad said, “Some day, far in the future, we’ll have some use for them.”) Technology seemed to be in Dan’s blood but at some point he took a different path and ended up in the clergy. His passion for technology and gadgets never left him. +Dan Cohen
