Vamoose! Tobacco Odor Eliminator Review

I was twittering one night and Judie mentioned that she had this product to test. Only problem is that the product claims to remove cigarette and tobacco odors and she doesn’t know any smokers.

Lucky girl.

Much to my eternal shame, I told her that my beautiful, intelligent teenage daughter has decided she is a smoker. The really great part is that the wretched child thought it was a secret even though everything she owned absolutely reeked of cigarette odors.

At first she tried to tell me it was from hanging around friends that smoked. She thinks I am stupid. (I hear that is a common teenage malady.)

So one day I tell her, “If you think that your smoking is a secret, you are mistaken.”

Foolish me. Now that the cat is out of the bag, she no longer makes any attempt to hide it!

Every time I walk into her room and it smells (even though she never smokes in the house) I get angrier. I don’t smoke. My husband doesn’t smoke. Why should I be made to suffer with a house that smells of smoke?

Vamoose! to the rescue!

The Vaja UMPC Case Review

I have a weakness for small leather goods. I love bags and pouches and cases more than your average bear. (Wow! It feels good to get that off my chest.)

As a leather lover, I have long been aware of Vaja and the magnificent cases they make. My problem has always been that I never seem to have a phone that is popular enough with other people to make it worth Vaja’s while to create a custom case. (Check out their i-volution cases…they are to die for!)

The TasteBook CookBook Review

If you know nothing about me, then you don’t know the story of my book (Get Some Hairapy) and my adventure getting it published. I looked at so many options it would make your head spin. What I settled on was using a micro publisher (Infinity Publishers) who allowed me to create and design the book while using their quality press and network to print it. The result? A professional finished piece without the expense and hassle of having to print 1000 copies.

TasteBook has taken that idea and made creating your own cookbook a possibility for anyone with basic web skills.

This is the first item that I have reviewed that my salon clients have gotten excited about. What’s to get excited about a cookbook, you ask? If you have never purchased one, you may not know that while they are filled with recipes, many people find they wind up using very few of them. So while you may have a library of cook books, they sit and gather dust. TasteBook gives you a chance to have a dynamic resource that gets used.
