As a VoIP phone, the APIOTEK VP-0002 could be the thinnest in the world with only 7.5mm thickness; it has been 100% developed foruse withSkype. Unlike other regular Skype phone handsets, the APIOTEK VP-0002 has a shiny, elegant designdue to its stainless metal back casing. It reminds me ofthe Apple iPod and Nokia 8810 GSM cell phone.

As my travel gear and gadgets are getting more and more heavy, I need a backpack to balance the load on my shoulders rather than try to use a side pack which Ifind uncomfortable andmight even hurt me.
Last week, I got a Targus 15.4″ Trademark Backpack from Targus Taiwan; let’s see what it claims to do for you.

[Ed. note: I got an IM from Larry this morning saying "God!... forgive me please... someone got killed by me...".
Immediately concerned, I looked at the Flickr address he had included. Holding back the laughter, I read Larry's next IM, "don't call the police, please~~~".
Well of course not Larry! I'll post the victim here for everyone to see, instead.

If you are like me, used to bringing your laptop PC to your bed and typing all night long in a dark room, you may need to work with a PC companion like the “Spyker USB Light”.

This is a French product, the official site link is here for reference. “Spyker USB Light” is USB 1.1/2.0 supported. (Nonsense, isn’t it? Who cares it will work on USB 1.1 or 2.0 as long as it got the +5V power supplied?)

Around two weeks ago at “http://www.palmislife.com/“, we had a group purchase activity for buying complete set of Treo 650 Housing as replacement parts for those with “poor looking” Treos.
These are “Genuine Replacement Housing For Treo 650″ with a “Verizon” logo printed. They are not brand new housings, they are all used but in good condition.

2006 Taipei IT Show - by Yada from “Palm Is Life“
The “2006 Taipei IT Show” has begun on December 2 at the World Trade Center (WTC) Taipei, Taiwan. I went to the show on last Sunday and took a lot of pictures. Not much on description, just let pictures speak!

PlayStation 3 - Some PS3 games were demonstrating on a 1080P HDTV screen, seems I have to leave the PS3 behind then to get enough money to buy this HDTV display first…

When the Palm Treo 650 launched, it came with an earpiece issue; its speaker sound was too low for regular people to hear. How bad is it? Well, you could clearly hear the caller’s voice in a quiet room, but you probably couldn’t hear a honeybee flying around your ear while outdoors - even if you have turned your Treo 650 to the loudest level.
Later Palm Inc. released newer firmware to make the sound level of the earpiece receiver louder. However, unlike geeks, regular people may not know how to update their Treo 650 to fix bugs. Further, upgrading the firmware can be risky since doing so may result in repair charges not covered under warranty if the ROM flashing process fails. I guess a lot of users will leave the volume problem either because they don’t know how to fix it, or they are afraid of the update firmware process.
GoTreo Software Inc. must have heard the outcry from Treo 650 users, so they released the software called (Now the latest version is called “VolumeCare Pro”
