According to Proporta it’s a fact that your mobile phone has about 25,000 germs on its surface at any given time where as your toilet has only 47.
To help protect yourself against those nasty germs Proporta has developed a new iPhone case made from anti-microbial materials. The silicone case, which is made from Steri-Touch material, comes in black with a gray interior.
The case is super light weight and adds little or no bulk to the overall feel of the phone.
The anti-microbial case, which comes with a lifetime warranty, is available for $20.95 by clicking here.

Sunstorm Interactive is at it again with a new game for the iPhone OS. The company is quickly becoming one of my favorite game developers for the iPhone OS. With titles at only 99 cents a piece many of them are finding a permanent place on my phone.
Rescue Razzle is a brainteasing, puzzle game where you are charged with rescuing a helpless rat named Razzle.
Razzle is stuck inside a cage at the top of pyramid of wooden crates and other cages. The goal is to remove all the surrounding items allowing Razzle to safely to the ground.
It’s simple concept but one that gets progressively more challenging as you move up through the game’s levels. Sunstorm was kind enough to give me a copy of Rescue Razzle to review.

Just last night, while browsing in my local Apple reseller, I stumbled upon one of those products that made me stand up go WOW!
Allistair has one of these in his cue for review.
The Mimo line of 7″ USB powered monitors were on display at the new store. As soon as I cast eyes on one I knew I’d be taking one home.
Check out my un-boxing and initial thoughts on this little gem of a device and look for Allistair’s review soon.

Just how protective of your gadgets are you? Do you let strangers fondle your phone? Do you let friends or family borrow your Mp3 player? Or does your device of choice never leave your side for fear that whoever you lend it to won’t treat it with the same respect you do?
Have you even been in a situation where someone asked to see or use your most prized gadget and you had to stop and think for a moment as to whether you trusted the person enough to do so?
Before you read this entire story be sure to answer the above question. Then read on for an even more challenging situation at the end.

Last week I told you about the launch of the new iFrogz Luxe custom case.
I personally love custom cases. There’s nothing worse than being in a crowded room of iPhone users, looking around and seeing that many of them have on the same case you do. It’s sort of like two stars who end up wearing the same dress on the red carpet of the Oscars. It just isn’t pretty.
Being able to design your own color combination almost insures you will not run into that problem.
Well iFrogz was kind enough to let me go through the entire process of designing my own Luxe case and it recently arrived.

JAVOedge has released a new case for the iPhone 3G and 3Gs. The Razor Skin is a lightweight silicone style case that’s rubberized texture offers a good grip and slip protection yet it remains soft to the touch.
The case is available in two unique styles. Blossom and Cortex. Each style features a laser cut out etched pattern on the back that includes a translucent layer which allows your iPhone to shine through the back.
JAVOedge was kind enough to give me both cases to review. Here are my thoughts.

A few weeks ago Dan and I took a look at two new cases for the iPhone 3G & 3Gs from Otterbox.
The Commuter and the Commuter TL both offer Otterbox’s tremendous quality in a slimmer, less bulky manner than Otterbox’s most famous case, the Defender.
When the cases first launched they were both available in only black with the promise of various color options to come.
Fast forward to today and the color pack add-on backs for the Commuter and the colored Commuter TL cases are now shipping.

Most people are familiar with the social networking site Twiiter which allows you to post updates to your followers about what you’re doing. Twitter limits these update messages to only 140 characters.
SMS Messaging is another popular form of communicating quickly with friends and family. It also places a limit on the number of characters you can use for your message. A text message is limited to 160 characters.
Today I learned of a web site “12-Seconds” which allows you to record video updates to your friends and family but the catch is like the other methods of communication I’ve mentioned, 12-Seconds places a time limit on how long your video message can be. You guessed it, each message must be under 12 seconds long.
Here’s why 12-Seconds limits your messages.
Because anything longer is boring. The scientists here at the 12 seconds dodecaplex have conducted countless hours of research to determine the precise amount of time it takes for boredom or apathy to set in during typical Internet video viewing. Our patent pending Electro-Tear-Duct Prongers have determined that exactly 12 seconds of video is the ideal amount of time to keep anything interesting.
You record your 12-second messages directly on the 12-Seconds web site or via your mobile phone (you then e-mail it your special e-mail address.)
Check out 12-Seconds here, and see what you can record in only 12 seconds.

I recently reviewed Shinnoire’s custome iPhone Leather Flip Case. I had a lot of fun selecting my personal color choices for the case. It’s not often you get to pick and choose the exact colors which will go into your case and then have it personally hand crafted.
Shinnorie offers the same level of customization for their bags as well and I was also allowed to custom build a laptop bag for review.
The bag I had built is their Skinny Slim Bag. It’s a slim bag good for short trips, daily commutes to and from work or meetings. The bag is built from a stain resistant nylon covered EVA hard shell and is generously padded with foam lining.
