WebIS Releases a Boat Load of Software - FlexMail & Pocket Informant

I don’t know about you, but I think WebIS has some of the best software available for the Pocket PC/WM platform. I live and die by my calendar, so Pocket Informant has been a staple in my Pocket Outlook arsenal since, like 2001 or so.

I just got some interesting news… Alex at WebIS will be releasing new versions of both FlexMail and Pocket Informant in the imediate future.  What’s so hot about that… oh, nothing, except that the release of PI will include versions for both BlackBerry and iPhone.

Check it out..!

UPDATE: FlexMail 4 is available now. Upgrades are very generous with FlexMail 4: Free upgrades to purchases after April 1st 2007 and $16.95 before that. Its well worth upgrading! Before upgrading, please take a look at the new PDF Documentation to read the upgrade instructions.

OmegaOne 1-ToGo Brings The Mobile Internet Straight to Your Device

Doug Goldring has posted a cool write up over at My Today Screen on OmegaOne’s 1-to-Go, a cool new way to access the Internet.  From Doug’s review:

Overview: So.  What is 1-ToGo?  I think I have never had so much trouble in a review explaining just what a program is.  It’s a little bit of everything.  So, let’s start with what this is not.  It is not a mobile web browser.  You will still need one of those (Pocket Internet Explorer will work just fine).  This is a web-based applet which will open within your existing browser.

The application looks pretty cool; and offers quite a bit.  Doug’s got a very thorough write up on it, and its definitely worth a read.

Second Verse, Same as the First…

Apologies to Christopher Spera, but he used such a great title for his new Sprint Palm 700wx review at PocketNow that I just had to recycle it!

According to him, ”The Sprint powered Palm 700wx is the 700w remade.  The 700wx has three distinct improvements over the 700w: 64MB instead of just 32MB, The ability to use the device as an EV-DO modem AKU2.x, and the new Communications Manager comes preinstalled.”
