Elvis Spotted In Coffee Aisle

elviscoffee.jpg

While browsing the Shaws supermarket in Madison CT yesterday I discovered the ultimate branding stretch. How on earth does anyone equate Elvis Presley with coffee? To my surprise, there’s a whole lineup of Elvis branded coffee - complete with a seal of authenticity on the back.

Make Your own Senseo or other Single Serve Coffee Pods

We’ve been “buzzing” here at GD over Wayne’s Post about the almost free Senseo single serve coffee machine. I have a Black and Decker Home Café and I love it. However the pods are a bit pricey, with 18 coming in around 5 bucks. Granted, the coffee in those pods tastes fine, but then you can’t enjoy one cup of your favorite gourmet coffee…or maybe you can!

I was searching around and found this interesting device on singleservecoffee.com.

Free Senseo - $ 15 Shipping

Since not everyone wants to spend $129 for a coffee maker like the Keurig Ultra B50 that we just reviewed, I’ll show you the way that I scored a free Senseo coffee maker. The Senseo is a cheaper version of the Keurig and uses pods which resemble teabags that you place into a similar coffee chamber. They’ve been giving these away to people who qualify for at least two years. What are the qualifications? Do you have $15 for shipping? Do you have a pulse? Do you have a credit card to pay for the $15 in shipping? Congratulations you qualify. Keep reading to learn how to collect the free Senseo.

Keurig Ultra B50 Gourmet Single Cup Home Brewing System

keurig6.jpg

While waiting at Valvoline to get my oil changed I was introduced to the Keurig Brewing system which they had in their lobby. This is a coffee and tea machine that uses self-contained cups of tea, cocoa or ground coffee. I’d previously used Senseo machines (leaky, somewhat messy). What interested me about the Keurig was that the coffee is all enclosed in a K-Cup - so there is no messy cleanup or annoying need to grind coffee. So, is this better than the old drip makers? Does it outperform similar machines like the Senseo?

Aerobie Aeropress Coffee & Espresso Maker Review

I enjoy a hot cup of coffee every now and then. But, I never had any interest in learning how to brew the coffee (cooking is really not my thing). I have always bought my coffee from restaurants and coffee shops. When I came across the Aerobie Aeropress Coffee & Espresso Maker while searching the web for interesting devices, it really caught my attention. The Aeropress is said to be easy to use and that it makes the best tasting coffee. This I had to find out for myself and we got an Aeropress to review.
