Just in time for summer vacation, Walmart.com has got the Garmin c550 Auto GPS w/ Bluetooth Capability for Handsfree Calling on sale for $198.86. This is the same one that Dell is still selling for $360, and Staples has for $449.99, which in retrospect seems just nutty.

Update 5/3/08 4:24 pm EST: Deal is Sold Out - Sorry. Woot! has the iPod Touch 16GB model (this is refurbished and does NOT include the additional email/weather/stock apps - which costs $20 to download via iTunes). Compared to the Amazon new price of $349 and the Apple refurbished price of $329 - this is an ok deal. Remember that the deals you see on Woot! are only good for one day. And they often sell out quickly. The iPhone Touch is nearly the same experience as an iPhone sans the voice/phone portion (and no monthly $70ish bill from AT&T). I started my Apple addiction with this very model and now you can too.

Here’s a heads up that the Apple Store has refurbished 4GB ($99) and 8GB ($149) iPod Nanos in stock. These are reconditioned models, thus the $50 discount from retail prices. In the past the Apple store has sold out of these quickly - so if you’ve been contemplating an iPod Nano (Mother’s Day gift anyone?) - head on over to Apple before they sell out once again.
