So even though I can't say, "Hey, check out these iPod Touch cases for Halloween!", that doesn't mean you shouldn't check them out.  Quite the contrary, in fact; given our fascination with the macabre, any time is a good time for this kind of thing.  Check 'em out, while they're still on sale!

Beyond the cute new wallpaper, IM+ is a solid instant messaging client which not only handles your MSN, GTalk, Yahoo, AIM, Jabber and ICQ chats, it also takes care of Twitter, Facebook Chat and MySpace. You're push-notified anytime someone tries to contact you, and getting set up couldn't be more simple.
It's so funny, because up until just a year or two ago, I thought of SMS as something you did on your phone only, while instant messaging was something you did on your computer only. Programs like IM+ have completely blurred the <a

This time the app was just in time for Halloween. There isn't much to say about Haunted Face. It was the annual "turning on of the heat". The ceremonial first day you realize it's too cold in the morning to heat the kitchen using only an open oven door. Right behind the opening day of heater use comes another annual October event - Halloween. None of our pumpkins will look anywhere near as good as most of 130 that walyou.com has rounded captured in their photo collection. <a

Today marks the 30th anniversary of one such surprise - the theatrical trailer of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. At that time there were no 'episodes' and the overall look was quite different.<blockquote>Narrated by Harrison Ford (yup, that's Han hamming it up with his best 1930s announcer impression), the trailer contains a few noteworthy gems, such as the famously cut "Threepio ripping the sign off the door" shot. This new decorative accessory apparently follows a spate of other R2D2-themed product that hit Japan last year. The tissue holder is designed for round-roll facial tissue and is too short to accommodate a paper towel rolls by a few inches according to the <a

Time for the "Parade of Carved Pumpkins". Somehow my pumpkins never look like this. Eran Abramson of web site Waylou.com has spent some time compiling over 34 different quirky pumpking pictures. Of course there's Darth Vader, Yoda, The Death Star, Pac Man and of course what better to decorate your doorstep than Jack Torrance from the Shining! <a
