I’ve just got word that Corrine Chorney has received her HP Magic Giveaway goodies! She posted an entry about it on her blog, and with her permission I am reposting it here…
Just a quick note to let you know that the HP Magic has arrived at my door!
Judie Lipsett from Gear Diary wasted no time shipping the HP Magic packages across the country. The incredible shipment arrived today. My husband signed for the shipment.
I couldn’t wait for the end of my work day. I took a couple hours vacation. After rushing home, I found myself awe-struck seeing the boxes really there in front of me. Soon, however, curiosity got the better of me and I started investigating.

Today is the last day for sites to start their HP Magic Giveaway, so if you have been putting off entering…Don’t!
Today’s sites are last100.com, jkOnTheRun, and Geek News Central. Bear in mind that each site will have their own requirements for the giveaway, and they may also have their own rules that will not apply on other sites.
Here’s a quick synopsis of today’s giveaway sites’ details…
All you have to do to enter the contest is to post a comment on this thread that shares your best mobile tech tip that has provided you the most “magic”. That’s it, certainly not too much work to win all this cool stuff. Your tip can be anything that makes your mobile tech work well for you and that you think worth sharing. Explain your tip with enough detail that anyone can figure out how to start using your idea with no help. Since this is a giving time of year and HP is sharing all this cool gear with the winner we think it would be super if the winner would share some of that stuff with those who need it. There are four computers after all, and while it’s not a requirement it would be special to see it shared with others. If you will share some of this prize package then tell us who you will share it with and why. That’s all you need to do to have a shot at over $6,000 of great gear.

Today’s HP Magic Giveaway sites are CiberPrensa and Unión de Bloggers Hispanos. Bear in mind that each site will have their own requirements for the giveaway, and they may also have their own rules that will not apply on other sites.
Here’s a quick synopsis of today’s giveaway sites’ details…
After thinking I have decided much it that I am going to distribute the great package in two great prizes, and have made this decision by two reasons: first it is that the complete prize is until pornographic, too much for a single person although it is urged to share the “magic “, and second it is that it had to make a contest in which readers of CiberPrensa could participate as much which they have blog like which they do not have it, that is enough also.
In any case, as the prizes continue being very important, and one of the objectives of the HP Magic GiveAway is “to share the magic”, without obligation some, intention to that the winners share part of the prize with needs which it, or are institutions without profit spirit, hospitals, schools or what is wanted.

Is there a club that really needs it? Do you have an idea for a campus-wide contest? Do you have a plan to use the giveaway to drum up some media attention or raise money for a worthy cause?

All that said: I’ll need you to visit the whole list of rules for the giveaway, of course, but here’s the rundown on how to enter!
1. Leave a comment on this post explaining what winning this package would mean to you and your family in these tough economic times and how your sharing of this package would contribute to the true meaning of the season. This counts as one entry. You may only leave one entry in this fashion. IP addresses are recorded. Obvious spoof IPs will be disqualified.
2. Tweet this contest with this tinyurl ( http://tinyurl.com/sdbgiveaway ) and the hashtag #SDBGiveaway. You may tweet up to twice per day. Come back to this post and paste the URL of each individual tweet you post. (I will check every single one at the end of the contest so do not delete.) Each tweet, up to two per day, will count as one entry. (How to get the URL of each individual tweet? Click on the “time” that your tweet was entered. It follows your actual tweet. “3 minutes ago” is an example.) And, not necessary, but feel free to add me on twitter. I’m FireMom!

Today’s HP Magic Giveaway site is Student Bloggers. Bear in mind that each site will have their own requirements for the giveaway, and they may also have their own rules that will not apply on other sites.
Here’s a quick synopsis of today’s giveaway site’s details…
This is finals season (I bet you thought it was the holiday season) so that’s what you’re going to tell me about. The first requirement:
Tell me your best finals story. What’s the craziest, funniest, most poignant, most surprising, shocking or just plain interesting thing that happened to you during this week that we all look forward to with equal anticipation and dread? I will then share some the best ones (winner or no) on the site at the end of the contest. This can be the time the guy next to you fainted in the middle of an exam, you aced a test because of a fact you heard on Jeopardy, or the time your computer crashed while on the last paragraph of your paper. If you do write about some computer crash story it had better be good. We’ve all heard a ton of those. Keep it fairly short (2-3 paragraphs).
