The HP iPAQ 910 is just about ready for release. While this GSM based phone will be capable of running on the AT&T high speed network - our information is that it is NOT on the carrier’s roadmap for release. So for those of you with your heart set on running this on AT&T you’ll have to settle for Amazon’s unlocked HP iPAQ 910 that they are offering for pre-order. The long delayed HP iPAQ 910 has made an appearance online at Amazon.com. The site is taking pre-orders with a shipping date stated as 1 to 2 months though the device has been widely reported to be shipping on 6/30/08. Pricing is $499 less an instant $50 rebate for a net price of $449. The quad-band GSM phone has HSDPA 3G connectivity (850/1900/2100) and will ship with Windows Mobile 6.1. Key features include HSDPA 7.2, WiFi, GPS, and a 3 megapixel auto focus camera. It also includes Bluetooth technology and a memory card slot.
