WebIS has announced the release of their powerful Pocket Informant PIM application for the BlackBerry. Our friends at WebIS, makers of powerhouse mobile apps like Pocket Informant, Note2Self and FlexMail, have unveiled a brand new website. The big news on the site… details and screen shots of the upcoming Pocket Informant for iPhone.
According to WebIS,

Hot on the heels of Chris’s article yesterday about Pocket Informant being planned for the iPhone comes this news of a Blackberry version being readied for an expected August 2008 release. According to the product page setup at Pocket Informant, the cost is $19.95 ($16.00 for upgrades from competing products) and will require Blackberry OS version 4.1 (or higher).

I saw this earlier today via Twitter, but it pointed me to the newly acquired JKontheRun and a post by my good friend and colleage, James Kendrick.
Pocket Informant is one of my most favorite PDA apps. I’ve been using it since version 2.x; and that takes me back to 2001…wow. I feel old. Anway, Alex bought himself an iPhone 3G, and has been busy recently. He’s pulled together a version of PI for the iPhone that is really kinda cool.
